What Roleta is, and what it is not
We help growers and greenhouse planners work out costs, get real quotes, and install the systems they choose. We do not manufacture sensors — we source them, integrate them, and write the control logic that makes them useful.
What we do
Consultation on upgrades, help getting supplier quotes, installation of systems and software, and ongoing support. Our machine learning models are integrated into your own control unit, so they keep working whether or not you are online.
What we are not
The calculator is a planning tool, not financial, agronomic or legal advice, and not a supplier quote. Before you commit money, get three written quotes, confirm your water use authorisation, and speak to your provincial extension officer.
Quantities are measured. Prices are estimates.
Every quantity is calculated from the dimensions you enter, and the formula is shown next to it. Prices are South African benchmark estimates and they move, so every price is editable and every line records whether its number was measured, derived, assumed, or still needs a quote.
For crop yields, water requirements and nutrient rates we work from Agricultural Research Council production guidelines. For selling prices, the national fresh produce markets. For input costs, published monthly input reports. Structure costs have no published benchmark, so those come from supplier quotes. Where a figure is not yet sourced, the calculator says so.
